Beatrice aka Demi Mondaine has thrived in the underground rock scene since 2006. With her band, she has already recorded five albums including Aether, released in 2014. The album includes the song “Private Parts” originally written by Iggy Pop for the Stooges but never recorded.
Her successive moults from her start in electro to rock tinted with soul, to French song shines through on her live stage performances.
While preparing a new album which she describes as “aquatic”, she joined the competition TV show “The Voice” where she made a sensational impression performing songs by Chris Isaak, Leo Ferré, and Jacques Brel in her unique style.
Her television performances make an impression on Jean Paul Gaultier and she is offered a leading role in the “Fashion Freak Show” which opens on October 2nd, 2018 at the Folies Bergère. The singer-songwriter will embody some of the unique characters that have marked the life of the designer and will rock the audience with her live vocal perfomances.
